These Owings Mills Empty Nesters were in dire need of an update. Their dream home has served them well, but now with the kids launched, grandkids on the way, and their lives taking on a new shape – it was time to focus on themselves and their environment.

Their model home was built in the 1990’s with the best of the best. It offered all the home trends of the time but had become very dated as they hadn’t made any updates since signing on the dotted line. Yep, that mint green carpet was still going strong!

We created the in-home retreat they deserve! Their bedroom became a place for rest and relaxation and we transformed their bathroom into a master spa with all the bells and whistles – steam shower,  upgraded lighting, a private room for the commode, and even an ironing board built into the cabinetry just for the husband!

I imagined a change but nothing like this! Wendy literally transformed our house and I didn’t know it was even a real option.

We never thought it was possible to have the room we have today, we really thought we were going to have to move to an entirely new home in order to make this transformation.

Instead, we got to keep the house we love, which is now the retreat of our dreams, and we look forward to being home together every day.
